The pre conference workshop was scheduled on January 12, 2014 at ITM School of Business, ITM University. The pre conference workshop was conducted by Prof. Sushanta Kumar Mishra. He is a fellow IIM Ahmedabad, is currently working with IIM Indore, a faculty in the OB and HRM area. The objective of this workshop was to share hands-on research experience to the academicians and research practitioners and help them to explore their research interests. This workshop was attended by more than 70 participants that include Academicians, Research Scholars, and students from different prestigious Academic Institutions across India. He tailored his programme as per the requirement of naive researchers and discussed his views on the topics "Foundations of Research and Approaches to Research, Conceptualization to Operationalization, Scaling Techniques, Questionnaire Design, Basics of Analysis" in detail with the participants. The workshop successfully gave clear insight in the field of research to the participants to develop skills and capabilities as a researcher to make some significant contribution in their respective research area.
